Tata Steel inaugurates fully automated construction service center in Ghaziabad (U.P.)


~ The Company partners with Vikrant Ispat Udyog to launch its first such service center in Western U.P. ~

 

Tata Steel today inaugurated a fully automated construction service center in Ghaziabad to offer customised reinforcement products and solutions to theConstruction Industry.

 

This is the first-ever fully automated service center in Western U.P., in collaboration with the Company's channel partner Vikrant Ispat Udyog.This facility will produce TisconReadyBuild (customised Cut & Bend Tata Tiscon TMT rebarsalong with Coupler threading). This center is spread across 5000 sq. yards and will provide comprehensive solution in the construction domain. The facility will subsequently extend its Downstream solutions portfolio to include Welded Wire Mesh and Bore Pile Cages, thus,  establishing itself as a “One-Stop Downstream Construction Service Center”.

It is a state-of-the-art fully-automatic downstream manufacturing facility having production capacity of 3500 TPM (tonnes per month).

 

The center was inaugurated by Ashish Anupam, Chairperson, Marketing & Sales, Long Products, Tata Steel, in the presence of other senior company officials along with channel partner representatives.

The Company also organised a meet of AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community. This ‘Converse to Construct’ meet in Delhi was attended by more than hundred customers and consultants from the infrastructure, housing, and industrial sectors.

 

The event also featured distinguished industry speaker, Anand S. Lourembam, Head of Surbuna Jurong Infrastructure Pte. Ltd., (India and Bangladesh), who delivered a thought-provoking presentation on “Latest Construction Technologies Across the World”.

 

In June 2023, Tata Steel inaugurated a similar fully automated construction service center in Cuttack, Odisha.
