Since its inception, Whistling Woods International (WWI) has been on an unremitting mission for the betterment of the society by contributing towards recognising and nurturing talented students through various initiative, which includes conferring scholarships to meritorious students. Staying true to this tradition, WWI has announced a new scholarship in honour of Mr. Pradeep Guha, one of India's most respected media personalities. He was also the Founding Director and a member of the Academic Advisory Body of WWI. The scholarship aims to recognise and commemorate students who demonstrate exceptional talent and potential in the field of media and entertainment.
The scholarship was instituted in the presence of Mr. Subhash Ghai, Meghna Ghai Puri, Rahul Puri, Paulomi Dhawan and the family of Mr. Pradeep Guha. The first recipient of this prestigious scholarship is Brinda Maniar, a student from the Dept. of Media & Communication pursuing the MBA in Media & Entertainment programme.
“Pradeep Guha was a true visionary and an inspiration to many in the media and entertainment industry,” said Subhash Ghai, Founder & Chairman of WWI. “He had a long-standing relationship with Whistling Woods International and his support to the institute was immense. We want to pay our tribute to him by instituting a scholarship in his name that would help nurture and support the next generation of media professionals.”
