As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, LG Electronics joined forces with Habitat for Humanity India to make a positive impact on the lives of marginalized individuals and families. With an aim to handover the newly built houses by December 2023, this partnership will enhance the living conditions of these families by providing housing facilities in Ghaziabad. In addition to delivering adequate housing and sanitation facilities, this initiative will strive to raise awareness about health and hygiene. The families  identified for this project belong to the bottom of the pyramid segments of society. The future homeowners include widows, people with disability and families living in a vulnerable condition.

“We are thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity India in their noble mission of providing secure and affordable housing to families in need of decent shelter. LG Electronics is dedicated to creating a favorable influence on the communities we proudly serve. Through this partnership, we aspire to contribute to the creation of a better tomorrow for individuals impacted by housing difficulties. At LG, we firmly believe in the right of every individual to have a respectable home, and we take pride in collaborating with Habitat for Humanity for India to pursue this objective. We are supporting construction of 16 homes and 40 sanitation units in Bhojpur, Ghaziabad benefitting 56 families.” said Sanjay Chitkara, Sales Head, LG Electronics India.
