Launches in beta with 100+ Residents across careers, money, wellness, and relationships
CRED has launched Circle by CRED, a new app that enables CRED members to overcome the scarcity of earned judgement in an era of information abundance. On Circle by CRED, members can have one-on-one conversations with Residents: members who bring relevant experience across careers, money, wellness, and relationships. Select members can engage with 100+ Residents in beta, with access paced to support thoughtful interaction with high-quality peers and experienced operators.
Circle by CRED builds on the 1.7-crore CRED community: a concentration of the most affluent Indians with demonstrated prudence and exposure. By enabling fresh perspective and accelerated compounding, Circle by CRED extends the CRED mission of catalysing progress for the creditworthy.
Residents act as thought partners who enable members to interpret context, recognise patterns, and make decisions with greater clarity. A founder who has scaled a company can help another founder think through leadership hiring or fundraising. A product leader can support a member’s career transition, while a relationship specialist can guide a member to fix their dating profile.
Residents are selected based on relevance, credentials, and experience. Members can connect with them via text, audio, or video from 6 PM to 10 PM, seven days a week. They can have a single conversation or return to the same Resident for more complex discussions. Pricing starts at ₹25 per minute.
Miten Sampat, interim CEO, CRED, said, “Information and intelligence are abundant now, but judgement and taste are still developed through experience. For our affluent members, the collective experience of qualified peers is now a conversation away, with a high-signal network on Circle by CRED to enable their progress.”
Circle by CRED will expand into additional categories over time, with the long-term aim of building a network where judgement compounds across the community. Circle by CRED is available in beta for select CRED members. Other CRED members can download the app on iOS or Android to join the waitlist. Members can apply to be Residents on cred.club/residents.
