Dr. Rajaram further appreciated the well-equipped lab and the expertise of specialists at the hospital, which she believes will ensure high-quality IUI services in the region.
On this occasion, Dr. P. Tanuja, Head of the Gynecology Department and Senior Consultant Gynecologist at Aster Prime Hospital, shared insights on the importance of fertility treatments. She said, “Currently, about 5-15% of couples face difficulties in conceiving naturally. This is often due to delayed marriages, lifestyle issues, or conditions like PCOD in women. Over the past decade, Aster Prime Hospital has been offering a wide range of services, including normal deliveries, cesareans, fibroid removal, and hysterectomies. Now, we have introduced IUI services.
“In cases where either the man or woman has fertility issues, natural conception may not be possible. In such situations, we collect the male partner’s sperm, process it, and then insert it into the uterus. This process increases the chances of conception by utilizing high-quality sperm. IUI also benefits women who have cervical issues preventing natural conception.
“At our facility, we have highly qualified embryologists and a state-of-the-art laboratory to ensure top-notch IUI services. Dr. Nirmala Rajaram also visited our lab and appreciated our efforts, for which we are truly grateful,” Dr. Tanuja added.
